Biography

Siddharth Banerjee is one of India’s leading Consumer Tech CEOs, with 25 years of diverse experience building businesses globally in some of the world’s most iconic Fortune 500 companies (Unilever | Vodafone | Facebook) and shaping high-growth start-ups in the Internet ecosystem in India (Univo Education | Games24x7).

Siddharth is currently the CEO & Board Member at Univo, one of India’s leading education technology companies. Before moving to build Univo, Siddharth was the Managing Director & SVP for Pearson, leading digital transformation of the business across the higher education ecosystem in India & Asia.

Prior to his EdTech experience, Siddharth was the CRO & Global CMO at Games24x7 helping build a gaming powerhouse which became the 99th Unicorn in India. Siddharth honed his digital skills as part of the Leadership Team at Facebook India as the Country Director- Global Sales Organisation (GSO). Prior to Facebook, Siddharth was the EVP-Marketing at Vodafone India and also led a global Vodafone business accelerator unit (mWomen) across 12 markets in Asia-Africa.

In the first 15 years of his career, Siddharth built a strong foundation in the CPG / FMCG industry with most of his business and leadership experience forged at HUL / Unilever. Over 12+ years at Unilever, Siddharth worked across Country P&L roles and Global / Regional / CMO roles, with rich exposure across Emerging Markets. His last role in Unilever was as the Country Marketing Director / CMO & a member of the Management Committee at Unilever Sri Lanka.

Siddharth is the bestselling co-author of Speechless (Bloomsbury) and 52RedPills (Pan Macmillan), a regular at Marketing Jury Panels & a top-ranked Keynote speaker at industry conferences across APAC. He is a big believer in hyper-learning & has co-founded www.52RedPills.com with his wife, Eika Chaturvedi Banerjee.
